Garlic Chops

Homestyle cooked meals one penny at a time.
Garlic Chops
served over a bed of buttermilk mashed potatoes
3 tbsp Butter
3-4 Pork Chops (or 2 per person)
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 cloves minced Garlic (or slice it for presentation)
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Chives (decoration)

Melt the butter and 2 cloves garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chops with the salt, pepper, onions powder, and garlic. When the butter is starting to "foam" add the seasoned chops and let brown on each side until golden -- do not flip the chops unless they are golden brown. Pork needs a crisp browning for full flavor.

Serve over a bed of Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes and top with some fresh chives for a beautiful, filling dish! Cheap to make, and easy to eat it all up!

Enjoy!

XOXO,

Aimee
