Green Bean Almandine w/ Craisins

There is nothing wrong with Healthy food that tatses Amazing!
Plus, this brings the colors of the holidays to your plate!
Complexity Level:  Easy
Green Bean Almandine w/ Craisins
What You Need:
1 tsp Garlic Salt
1 Yellow Onion, minced
2 lbs. Fresh Green Beans, trimmed
3/4 cup Craisins
2 tbsp Butter
4 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Olive Oil

To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Flash cook the green beans by tossign them into the hot water for 3-5 minutes.  Remove and throw into an ice bath.  This "Shock" of temperature is how you keep the ripe green color of the beans.


Meanwhile, heat the butter, onions, almonds, and craisins in a large skillet over medium low heat.  Toss to brown, and heat about 8 minutes.


Next, toss in the Green Beans, heat 5-8 minutes tossing the beans often to coat with the butter oil mixture.  Serve hot.

This is a fast, super simple recipe that is gorgeous and full of the flavors of winter.  I hope you enjoy!!
